REGARDE 2023 is inspired by the fauna and flora of the island of Saint Barthélemy : birds, fishes, algae, all protected species.

Eretmochelys Imbricata : the Hawksbill Turtle, is a species of turtle from the family Cheloniidae. It is distinguished by several unique anatomical and ecological characters; it is notably the only known spongivorous reptile.

It lives close to the coasts in all tropical seas. Renowned and long sought after for the superior quality of its shell, it is for this reason one of the species of sea turtles most threatened with extinction.
